Fundraising
At Heel and Hike™, we love combining our daily adventures with a purpose — giving back to the dogs in need. Over time, we’ve taken on a number of fundraising challenges to support amazing animal charities and rescue organisations.
From long-distance walks to community events, each effort has helped raise vital funds and awareness for dogs in need. You can find out more about the causes we’ve supported below.
Battersea Walk 4 Rescue
In October 2024, we took part in the Battersea Walk for Rescue — a 90km challenge walked by me and my own dog, Bailey! Together, we covered every kilometre to help raise money for dogs in need, and we’re so proud to have raised a total of £350.00, plus £50 in Gift Aid. It was a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to give back to the rescue community that does so much for dogs and cats in need.
Heel and Hike Fun Dog Show (Autumn)
We also hosted our very own Heel and Hike Fun Dog Show — an online show filled with happy faces, Halloween costumes and plenty of friendly competition! Together, we raised £80.10, plus £20.03 in Gift Aid for Dogs Trust, helping them continue their incredible work caring for and rehoming dogs in need.
